Need to switch off iMac to PC ASAP

Hello

i have a iMac for a couple years but its completely horrible can't have more then one thing open at a time. I am looking to make a change to PC but having a problem on building it.

I am using pcpartpicker.com to put everything together. Just don't know what in the world is more important than the other (not that much of an IT guy). Im looking to spend around 1500-2000 into the pc build. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

Thank you very much

What kind of work to do you?

Right now, the best all around CPU is a Ryzen 3700. Its affordable, very high performance, and just an all around good pick. A X570 mobo to go with it that is solid is a Gigabyte Aorus Elite, pick up 16 or 32 GB of 3200 RAM, an SSD from samsung of whatever size you feel you need, and a decent PSU from the LTT PSU tier list:

Really beyond that, if your gaming, you need a GPU, a RTX 2070 super is a really good performer, and a case... And thats basically it.

Rig: i7 13700k - - Asus Z790-P Wifi - - RTX 4080 - - 4x16GB 6000MHz - - Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe Boot + Main Programs - - Assorted SATA SSD's for Photo Work - - Corsair RM850x - - Sound BlasterX EA-5 - - Corsair XC8 JTC Edition - - Corsair GPU Full Cover GPU Block - - XT45 X-Flow 420 + UT60 280 rads - - EK XRES RGB PWM - - Fractal Define S2 - - Acer Predator X34 -- Logitech G502 - - Logitech G710+ - - Logitech Z5500 - - LTT Deskpad

Headphones/amp/dac: Schiit Lyr 3 - - Fostex TR-X00 - - Sennheiser HD 6xx

Homelab/ Media Server: Proxmox VE host - - 512 NVMe Samsung 980 RAID Z1 for VM's/Proxmox boot - - Xeon e5 2660 V4- - Supermicro X10SRF-i - - 128 GB ECC 2133 - - 10x4 TB WD Red RAID Z2 - - Corsair 750D - - Corsair RM650i - - Dell H310 6Gbps SAS HBA - - Intel RES2SC240 SAS Expander - - TreuNAS + many other VM’s

From what you specify , you probably don't need a 2000$ system . Here is a build which is under - budget , but is still pretty powerful.
