Would Fans designed for rads make sense for front intakes without rads?

So there aren't a lot of cases with good front air intake. I'm wondering if radiator fans, designed for use with greater pressure would pull/push more air into the PC than max airflow, when there are air filters and slim front intake or if the pressure needs to be much higher to justify it.

Fans optimized for rads just shove the air more straight. Though if you wan't fans the Noctua industrial fans are the best.

Without a pressure gauge I couldn't tell you for sure. Depending on how restrictive the case is, it could really help. Imo unless you are running an open hole with a basic finger guard, a static fan is a safer bet.

Yes, I have high pressure 120x38 fans all over my case. I love them so much I've been using them since 2005.

No they aren't, not by a long shot.

 

Delta, Sunon, Panaflo, Pabst, NMB, Nidec just to name a few, Noctua is not is this class.

No they aren't, not by a long shot.

Wrong comparison MOST people don't stick 40mm fans in their system.

But you should. I see so many people complaining about temps, and noise.. You also don't have to run them at full speed, I can run at 5v and get better performance than you would at say 12v. Just throwing numbers around.

as long as you're getting fresh air into your case, the difference will be negligible in terms of temperature. Any power draw differences are going to be within margin of error and so low that it doesn't need to be a consideration. Loudness can be controlled by lowering fan speed, but there is no "x is louder than y" depends how the fan was made.

In the summer I can continue to run my maximum 24/7 overclock on all of my components, while everyone else dials back to their “summer” clocks, and the less enthusiastic type are just complaining their computers are running hot.

 

They can also properly feed my TY-143 at full trot.
