Getting steam to think my Xbox Controller is a PS4 Controller

So I tried out Playstation Now on PC, and it works fairly well but I'd need a PS4 Controller with a touchpad to progress through some games. I only have Xbox 360 and Nintendo Switch controllers. I was thinking that if I could get steam to think my Xbox controller was actually a PS4 controller, then I could bind the touchpad to one of the Xbox controller's inputs and launch psnow through Steam Big Picture to enable a working touchpad input. Does anyone know how I could get steam to think my Xbox Controller is a Playstation Controller?
