Capture card needed for a montage?

Hi! I’m planning to do a montage of some of the cars in nfs heat. I’m just wondering would i need a capture card for my ps4 pro to get videos and pictures from the game?

I would be editing on a macbook pro.

As I recall, the PS4 can capture video by itself, though I've never pulled the clips from the console itself. I believe it's cloud related.

The PS4 (and PS4 Pro, by extension) can capture video on their own, so long as you're fine with 720p at 30fps (I think the Pro supports 1080p30 but don't quote me on that?). Up to you.
