High-end Gaming Laptop Purchase

Hey guys im recently planning to buy a new gaming laptop thats in the 2000-3000 range. Yet the only option that I see with intel 10th gen is the msi gs66 & ge66, i have never purchased a msi product before so I don't know if they're good. The other option im looking at is alienware m15, with i99980hk and gtx 2080, only  concern is that it isn't intel 10th gen :c

Do you guys have any suggestions in this price range? Should I wait until more companies reveal their new models?

I would appreciate any replies.. thanks in advance

Actually that was probably just a rumor but intel cpu's barely improve with each generation each year so it doesn't matter get the area 51m and you won't be disappointed.

Alienware M15s run super-fuckin' hot in that setup, don't do it. Overheat like crazy. I like Alienware quite a bit, but their cooling designs for the 15" series are terribly lackluster when you stuff a high end CPU and GPU into it. If you want a combo like that, go for an Area 51M.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.
