fan controller? do i need one? will this one work?

Was wondering if this'll help me control the speed of my fans & work with the fans & motherboard im using (and if you can tell me how to determine that as well so i know how you came to this conclusion? im new)

board: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard

case: Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C ATX Mid Tower Case
