Is the EVGA 400W Power Supply Compatible with the MSI B360 Gaming Plus Motherboard?

Hello! Im trying to make a gaming computer so I've been researching all the parts but is the EVGA 400W Compatible with the MSI B360 Gaming Plus? Like does it have enough cables to give power to everything?

What components are you actually using? The motherboard itself doesn't use much power.

maybe create a pcpartpicker list so we know exactly what parts you're working with.

Get a Corsair CX550 or Be Quiet System Power 9 500W

It is compatible since the B360 Gaming Plus has an 8-pin EPS connector and that's exactly what the EVGA 400W comes with.

 

But

 

1) The EVGA 400W is a piece of garbage, I wouldn't pair it with a gaming computer

 

2) Just because your PSU is compatible with your motherboard doesn't mean it's OK for your build. The PSU must be compatible with the GPU, CPU, RAM, and storage as well in both connectors and wattage that's why the PSU is one of the last things you choose. Not only that but the PSU also has to be good quality like I hinted in the first point.

 

3) It has nothing to do with the topic but B360 motherboard means you are planning on building an intel based PC and intel isn't a good value for budget gaming PCs unless you live in a rare country where for some reason intel CPUs are cheap, which aren't many.

Are you buying used? Because it seems like many of these parts are last-gen stuff. I don't recommend them unless you find a really good deal on them.
