I need a high-res photo of a 1070 PCB

Hi!

Recently my Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (rev1.0) has had a mosfet catch fire :(

I want to repair the board, as I will send it to a store specialized in this kind of repair, but I need the model of the mosfet that blew off, if someone is kind enough to provide me with a high-res photo of the interested area (pictured in the attachments) I would be so happy!

I tried asking on reddit, but got no luck, I opened a ticket to gigabyte, but they couldn't help as the card is out of warranty.

Thank you for reading

Looks like you got an image.  Just not one with a high enough resolution to read the part numbers on the chips.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Yep, that's the problem :(

I would like to get a photo of the area in which the IC is blown, you can spot it in the first image attached

  • 1 year later...

Very late but for anyone else thats a current steering fet. They come in pairs - so its the same 8 pin chip just above the one that has blown up
