Thunderbolt 3 EGPU’s on AMD

Thunderbolt was shared by Intel to the USB Forum as USB4, so AMD now has access to thunderbolt. If your laptop is powered by AMD and has a thunderbolt/USB4 port, you could look online to see if it supports eGPU docks, or ask customer support.

Hi all,

With all the news on AMD’s new mobile line of processors, I thought of some questions.

I know that as if the last time I checked Intel didn’t allow AMD to use Thunderbolt 3. Can I use a thunderbolt 3 EGPU on AMD or a thunderbolt 3 dock?
