RODE NT USB mic not working

I brought my mic 2 month ago. It works well, but I just leave it for about 1 month, It does not working anymore. The light shows on mic is on, and the connection is totally fine, the computer can recognize the equipment as well.  But It dose not have sound any more I cannot hear myself, and the volume bar dose not show anything once I do the test. Anyone know whats wrong with it!

A month? I suspect you got upgrade hosed and some data connection broke.  Have you maybe tried reinstalling it?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I'm not very familiar with that specific mic and assuming there's no hardware mute switch that's flipped the wrong way it sounds like the mic died. If the computer recognises the equipment that leads me to believe the data connection (cable) isn't the issue. I'd return it if I were you and either get a replacement or try something else.

@Bowis This is exactly the sort of reason I recommended against USB mics in that previous post.
