Need help for choise of gpu for 3770 build. gtx 1050 vs gtx 770

We are going to build a pc for friend from our unused parts as a surprise gift:

CPU: intel I7 3770

Ram: 4x4 Gb ddr3 (do not remember what ram)

Monitor: 60hz 1080P

We have Gtx 770 and Gtx 1050. which of these two would you use in this build?

We need to buy new power supply after we decided which card to use.

Also, can somebody estimate what kind of performance this build can get in 1080P casual games (rocket league, Minecraft, Cs and these kinds of games...)

Yeah, the CPU and motherboard could fail at any time, because of their age. But it is better nothing. We are all uni students so we are broke so we try to do this as cheaply as possible.

The 770 is MUCH faster

for the power supply - grab a CX550W or TXM 550W

Except for minecraft most of the games are esports titles. Both GPUs  will be okay performance-wise on those games.

CPU: Sempron 2500+ / P4 2.8E / P4 2.6C / A64 x2 4000+ / E6420 / E8500 / i5-3470 / i7-3770
GPU: TNT2 M64 / Radeon 9000 / MX 440-SE / 7300GT / Radeon 4670 / GTS 250 / Radeon 7950 / 660 Ti
