What order should I build my pc in?

I've never built a PC before and I'm wondering what parts to install into the case first. Is there a specific way that helps keep everything organized or does it depend on what parts you pick?

Everything that's supposed to go in the motherboard you install it first, outside the case.

Does this include the heat sink?

I recommend you watch some build guides on YouTube, there’s many. A big desk and somewhere to keep all the screws without loosing them is quite helpful. The easiest way is to build it out of the case first and do a test boot before putting it in the case to make sure it works, this can save you time.

Yes, I suggest watching some tutorial vids on how to do so.

Attempt to POST before closing the side panels. Linus says it's bad jeebies if you close the side panels before trying to POST.

6. Display Preferences/Monitor Settings.
7. RAM XMP Settings.
8. Motherboard Driver Updates (Chipset, Ethernet/Bluetooth, Sound Card, RGB Software, Etc.).
9. Essential Software (7Zip, LibreOffice, Malwarebytes, Notepad++, Etc.)
   • Ninite Customizable Software Package.
10. Additional Software/Programs (Discord, GIMP, Skype, Steam, VLC, Etc.)
