LnsCupragr

Hello,

I have the following system and I would like   to have your opinion for upgrade

Motherboard : Asus Z87 Deluxe Dual (I really love it for the 10 sata that hoes)

CPU : Intel i& 4770K , staying cool with Corsair H100i

Ram : 16 GB DDR3/2400 Mhz

VGA Is brand new, do not want to change : MSI 2070TI 8 gb Armor OC

The upgrade I was looking for is

Intel I7 9700K

ASUS Motherboard ROG Maximus XI Hero (I Really love this brand for a lot of reasons. Company, quality of products I had so many years, bios)

Corsair RAM Vengeance pro 32 gb kit 3466 / DDR4

Also I am going to use for bootable device the : Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 1TB

The I9 is not affordable for me, that is the reason I did not mention

My pc is for use gaming & Lightroom

Waiting for your advise

Thank you

Can I ask why you are going Intel when AMD would give you pretty much the same performance for a lower cost? Especially if you are using lightroom where higher thread counts would be better for you. I only ask because you could get a 3700x, while you will lose some gaming performane, you will double your thread count, plus since you are going for high frequency ram anyway, it would be worth making the switch to AMD

I would go with this, although OP already has an H100i which is a good AIO.

you're paying for snake oil here, it's rather mediocre for how much you have to pay. get a gigabyte elite instead of you must have an intel CPU instead.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

There’s no point in spending $20 for rgb, but if you really want it it’s your choice. The crucial P1 is a good choice $70 cheaper than the Samsung evo.
