I think I screwed up

There's not enough space for an AIO cooler? At least not up top.

I can at least try up front?

so corsair did this on a lot of older cases. I've got a similar case a 350d and the top rad doesn't fit all that well, mine is pulled out sideways and with  only 4 screws in it.

you can mount it to the front but you have to ether move or lose (I don't know on this case) the HDD mounts. that may mean you need to use 5.25 to 3.5 adapters.

Welp

I'm screwed.

It looks like I can't move forward with the build anymore, if I can't get fan and cooling set.

The holes don't like up and the gaps on the side

So, that said. I'll end up having to take it back I guess. And go for a Full-Tower sized case.

I need the AIO for my Ryzen 9 3950.

get a case with better cooling and try do do a 360 rad. a 240 isn't going to do that well.

Would that make more sense if I was doing heavy loafs with 3d Rendering and Graphic Editing, like Photoshop and Illustrator?

With lots of gaming on the side?

Can you squeeze the rad without fans up top and screw the fans on outside the case?

No? Why would I do that?

Look at the pictures above.

The RAD won't fit regardless because it's too wide up top.

And fans outside wouldn't help cool anything.

Oof just an idea, seen it done somewhere, just trying to help

I've kinda already decided to return the whole thing anyways because it's too small.

Next time, check for compatibility before you buy. Check the product page, it should list the compatibility for radiators. E.g. the Spec-02 lists the radiator compability as being 120mm.

You really think I need that big of a RAD?

I'll be heavy loads with 3d Rendering and Graphic Editing, like Photoshop and Illustrator?

are you going to overclock or not?

I'm still relatively new to the concept.

But, I won't be doing hardcore rendering because the software I have is a decades worth of being outdated.

That said, overclocking can damage the CPU and board if done incorrectly. From what I speculate anyways.

I'm fixing to return the case anyways, and I have the cooper with me, so there's some time to help me.

if you run the voltage to high yes but these chips will last decades even with a hard OC.

I ran my 6600k at near max voltage for 4 years strait and the chip still works just fine.

Well, I can always install Cinebench and 3d Mark to run tests.

I suppose though, I can stick with the 240 for now, and if temps get too warm/hot for the CPU where this cooler isn't enough, then I can upgrade to the 360.

Right?

yeah but you'd waste more money than returning and buying it now

My EVGA Trio 2080 11GB TI has 3 fans, so it'll be cool for years. Right?

fans don't mean it will cool well. That specific card will do well until it gets choked by dust.
