Monitor white flashing line

orcanice

Last night my monitor suddenly started showing a white flashing line

Here is a video showing the problem.

All text under the white line isnt looking sharp anymore.

Have anyone seen this before? and does anyone know if theres a fix.

Step one:

Swap video cables.

Step two:

Boot to BIOS, see if you still get this issue.

If you do, then it's (probably) a failing monitor

Step three:

Report back

The problem isnt with the pc. because the line is there if i turn the monitor on without any display cables.

I actually had this problem with an old monitor and it turned out it was dead/dying. Mine had a hot-spot and warping in the center that was clearly visible if I used a black wallpaper. Maybe try changing your wallpaper to a standard black one and checking that.

Well you didn't say that before, but yeah, bad monitor.
