Interesting/fun things to do with a high end graphics card?

TheAncientLegend

My PC is equipped with a Threadripper 3960X and an RTX 2080 Ti. I bought this combo mainly for video editing.

The most I've really done to put this hardware to use is, well video editing, and playing a bit of GTA V. I'm not a gamer, it's more of just an interesting real-life simulation to me than it is a game. That's an old game though, and doesn't support ray tracing or anything.

Any suggestions on some interesting/entertaining uses for this kind of hardware?

Interesting?  Depends what your interested in - since your response is as such you aren't geared to something as long as it is solely interesting to you - so you need to define that.

Fun?  You don't game and don't find it fun.  You edit videos and don't find it fun.

Define what you find fun, maybe we can help.

Im kind of put off on your response to folding, on this forum, but I will say you should try VR to answer your title.

Is there anything you know of that’s similar to GTA V in that it has a really cool world to explore and can be modified to remove/bypass any missions/challenges?

If you found it interesting or fun you would do that with your rig.

I personally love reading books, listening to music, watching education videos and study. Therefore, I think, the foldingathome is a great background process in addition to the aforementioned activites :) x) Just find something what you like-love to do : ) IT is you, who have to know..

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )
