What to buy for a Command and Conquer lover with no new command and conquer games?

whitedragon101

I loved command and conquer and the red alert games.  But they for some reason collapsed a popular game franchise.

I know Starcraft is out there but I could never get into it.

Any recommendations of similar fun strategy games that took up the mantle of this style?

I'm in the same boat but found a retro c&c website where you can play the originals.

As far as more modern titles, I personally have found the warhammer series to be pretty good. WH: Dawn of war is my favorite. They are a bit more sci-fi, starcrafty but really fun and play a lot like c&c

Are you looking for recent titles or are you open to a wider time range?

I'm open to a wider time range but I am hoping for something with Command and Conquer 3 / C & C generals or above levels of graphics.

Red alert 2 or Tiberium Sun are past my graphical tolerance levels now.

KKND and Dune 2000 are pretty good if you can A) find a copy and B) get them to run properly (older titles)
