broke the top 200 today. It's my first time folding since 2015 when I was folding with a i5-3570k and a GTX 770. took about 700 WU to get to my goal of 1 mil points. I got almost 2 mil points today alone. I don't think ill make it to the top 150 but I can dream :)

It's crazy competitive at that level. Be lucky not to lose spots, let alone pull ahead. Gotta be a time when you hit your hardware peak.

My Stats

The top 100 gets exponentially harder to gain a position... :)

I see folding like body building... You can only go so far all natural before having to hit the roids... :P i.e. before using the cloud VMs with Tesla GPUs :)

I am bedridden... I see it more like... not that... at all. The example made me tired.

Yup... been in the top 50 for more than a week with nothing special, but too many people pulling out the big guns with the cloud hardware now... will be happy if I'm not booted off the top 100 :D

Go to the slot config and add -

client-type        advanced
next-unit-percentage 98

Could you elaborate please?

Do you add these values in the "extra slot options (expert only)"?

Do you fill out the first string in "name" and the second in "value"?

What does this do exactly?

I thought about doing the same when I saw the posts on how to do it however will just keep to my 4 folding rigs in my garage. :) Already spending too much time managing them atm... :D Luckily for me I am forced to work from home so am monitoring them constantly (when I am not asleep).

Final credit estimate, 1433.00 points - that's more than I was expecting from an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 3805U @ 1.90GHz.

I tried an old Core2Duo earlier but it seemed a huge waste of electricity for how pathetic it was doing.

So annoying I still have an i3 2120 and Pentium G3258 sat doing nothing, as I don't have any motherboards to put them in.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

I'm taking my 2009-ish Dell Latitude with a Celeron out of the loop today.  Usually takes 14-20 hours for one WU.  Simply not worth the effort.  However, haven't had any hiccups with it at all this whole time.
