I'm almost half way through and it seems fine so far. Is your CPU or GPU overclocked? 14541 seems to be hitting the CPU quite hard as well so if you have an overclock on the CPU then that might cause it to crash.

 

I've got a stock RX 580 and a RX 590 keeps saying they are overclocked. At the moment it's about 50/50 if they recover from the check point or fail. I've got one on the 580 at the moment it's at 63% no problems so far.

Folding just with one of my PCs and the Nvidia 1070 for a couple of days now. The 1070 has been underclocked by -100 MHz all along, both for cores and memory. So far ok at more than 23%, will report later if it finishes problem-free.

F@H stats update every two hours... would that explain it or...?

nope, F@h stats are updating every hour. EOC every 3 hours but for some people EOC stats are almost 2 days old

EDIT: also my 5700xt has a higher PPD estimate currently than the 2060 normally its nipping at the 2060's heals

Instead of downclocking I'm just limiting my temperature. See my clock and memory has the OC settings, but the Nvidia Boost 3.0 is limiting my clock speed with temperature. Whenever I see a bulky WU with my idle PC, I just crack up that temperature bar. Haven't seen any problem finishing WUs.

Max q on mobile is set by the MFG that ^ ^ is the minimum spec to be max Q ^ ^ ^ ^ is what its able to get thanks to "improved cooling from min spec"

i beg to differ all of these are in Rx580 or 5700xt or vega M though my vega m never finished 1

Having the odd behaviour of my CPU folding only using about 37% of my CPU at any given time. I've given it 10 of my 12 threads so it should be loaded but Task Manager is only reporting 37% on F@H and 51% overall CPU usage

some jobs require less cores and some come up with bs excuses like it cant fold with a prime number of cores and cant be an even number etc
