no signal after installing a pci card (my fault)

i just installed a card thinking was a network card and my pc is death, no boot no signal no psu start nothing.

i try everything but nothing worked

i unpluged all made a clear bios pull out the bios battery also scorting the psu connector for make it start being sure that's not the psu full death

everything a noob can do, but nothing

the card i install is a hp lightsout 100 and i went to know after all this trobleshooting that's not a network card

what can i do for fix the problem?

Maybe you disconnected something by accident, just check if everything is plugged in correctly.

did you try jumping the 24pin cable to check if the PSU comes on? maybe check if the kettle cord is plugged in at your PSU.

yes if i short green and black cables in the psu the psu start.

everything was unpluged and plugged in again being sure to do it right.

i place the same card in another pc and that pc turn on by himself

Did you unplug the Pc while installing this card?

Okay cool XD The best answer i still can give is to check all he cables again and making sure everything is plugged in, check if the PSU is plugged in and on at the back of the PSU.

 

If everything checks out then swap the PSU out and check if it does the same with another PSU if there is an extra one available.

You could've shorted something.

everything started with a plug of a pci card that's 4x4cm i did not touch anything else.

That's why i think maybe something is unplugged. I had this one time when my Pc didn't want to turn on and 2 hours later i discovered that i forgot to plug in the PSU.
