they basically cost the same

btw this will be the parity drive of my unraid server that currently only has 1 drive
Seagate ST12000NE0007 12 TB IronWolf Pro

i used another external drive to backup the important stuff

Id get the cheaper toshiba, they will both work basically the same.

 

Or if you want cheap, get the 12tb externals if there cheap in your area, they often get to around 180 usd.
