Nice CPU and motherboard. Decent RAM sticks.

 

Trash SSD. Ditch that along with the hard drive and get a 500gb+ SSD. (Crucial MX500, ADATA SU800 or Samsung 860 EVO)

 

Trash case. Buy a Phanteks P350X/P360X/P400.

 

Do not spend $230 on an RX 570 because you can find used 580s for around $100. At 230-250 you should be looking at the GTX 1660 super.

just a warning regarding Vuugo, my cousin bought through them recently and there's been a big runaround over the way they processed his payment method with some suspicious refunding/re-charging cup game going on. I would keep your purchases to major retailers only such as Newegg Canada, Canada Computers, Amazon Canada, and potentially direct purchase from manufacturer like you have listed for the psu currently. I'm just going to do some quick price checks to see if there are some better items to suggest.

If you want decent yet over-the-top ram that's also red in colour, just get the OLOy WarHawk RGB 16 GB 3200 (2 x 8 GB) kit mate.

I’m a bit confused.  It says CAD machine that does gaming in the headline, but says gaming machine that does gaming in the body copy.  Assuming you mean CAD machine that does gaming, which software you use for CAD could have a big effect on which GPU you want.

-Newegg doesn't account for shipping in Canada - can be upwards of $20-30 extra per item

-Vuugo is a literal scam. Poor customer support, slow shipping times, often doesn't ship at all. Have done a chargeback with them personally, and many of my friends have also had to.

-TCSunBow X3 sold in Canada/USA is SM2258XT based, DRAM-less.

I love Canada computers. I will also not use vuugo as others have complaned about them.

How much do you care about looks of the PC?

Not bad, but I'd consider:

• Switching the 2600 for the 1600AF
• Don't get a 120GB SSD, this day in age that's much too small. Same with the 500GB HDD. If you combine what you've spent on both of those you can get a 500GB NVME SSD, which is a significantly better choice
• Don't spend $230 on an RX570. For that you can get a used GTX 1070, or if you're patient, a 1070Ti
• $30 on fans when there's so many deficiencies in the rest of the system is a waste

Kinda, but it kina depends on what part. Nothing like PSU ,CPU or ram.

You could save a ton on the GPU by going for something like a used Vega card or GTX 1070. GPUs usually last a long time, so it should last.

PSU & RAM I can totally get behind.  CPU is more iffy though that is situationally dependent.

Kijiji is usually the one most used in the GTA. I have a friend over there that flips PCs.
