these masks are made of very porous urethane foam and can't filter out airbourne liquid droplets, therefore not recommend. also they are all made in china. the only thing thse foam mask can filter is large dust particle, which is big enough that visible to the human eye. this kind of particle is not particularly harmful. the invisible one like pm10, pm2.5 is the most harmful kind.

the best mask you should use is disposable surgical mask. they provide very good protection against coronavirus

as for n95 masks they are design to filter out 95% of particles in the nanometre scale, they need to fit for your face and because of its filter, it makes breathing difficult.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!

So get N95 masks an decorate them? lol.

lol to you, N95 should be used by health professionals, they cost much more and takes longer to make. however people should wear gas masks when near you, scorpions' stingers are less toxic than your words

just buy surgical masks, they are the most cost effective way to block airbourne droplets. i doubt you can make anything that is as good as blocking droplets and breathable, and steriled. also you should buy masks that are individual packed, they are sterilised in the factory reduced chance of cross contamination.

everytime you go out, open a new mask. when coming home, cut the used mask in half to prevent someone reuse it, dispose in outdoor rubbish cans. if you wanna be careful, leave your outdoor shoes outside as some people have a bad habit of spitting on the streets. disinfecting your clothes by submerging y in a solution of bleach (1%) or dettol before washing them.

Looks like I need a Pitta mask when spring comes around, pollen allergies are killing me and I really need an excuse to start dressing in cyberpunk fashion.

Well the thing is the whole reason I wanted one of those masks was the look because people tend to get uncomfortable when you use a surgical mask that and they never seem to cover my face correctly is there any way to achieve the surgical mask safety withe the look and color of the pitta mask, maybe a cotton mask with a filter?

If there's not a stylish mask that prevents sickness so you don't come off as weird the first guy to make it will be rich

tbh I dont consider someone wearing a standard cheap face mask as weird. If you are getting sick most people will appreciate your efforts.
