Hi im getting a1060 6 gb msi used for 115 usd.

Should I go for it?

Replacing my dead 7870 ghz edition with used 1060 is it a good idea?

Also are there any new  gpus in the same price range? With better pricr to performance ratio

A used RX 580 8GB is around the same price point so I'd say it's actually a good deal. I often see used 1060 6gb models for closer to $130 or even $150 so this one's got good bang for buck. What specific MSI model is it?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k (won) - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Kill Trident Z RGB - Force MP500 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G2 650W - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Linux Proliant ML150 G6:

Dual Xeon X5560 - 24GB ECC DDR3 - GTX 750 TI - old Seagate 1.5TB HDD - Dark moded Ubuntu (and Win7, cuz why not)

How many watts do I need? Seasonic Focus threadUserbenchmark (Et al.) is trash explained, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Sounds like an okay deal to me.

Similar in performance is rx570, but with more watts and temperature, and a used one is probably cheaper to get. The next similar new card would be the 1650 Super.

They seem to sell for $150 and the 6GB version is surprisingly capable for VR fwiw, but a 1070 also seems to pop up on ebay these days for $150-170.
