SD card for a Samsung s7 phone?

I have a shitty 1gb card and I just realized there's cards of 256GB and affordable:

For example. But im confused at the different classes, and what is that adapter doing, should I buy one or not necessary?

 

Also how much should I spend? 256gb is enough for mobile storage in your experience? i intend to store movies and series mostly.

The adapter is for transforming the micro SD card into a SD card, to use with cameras and plug into a computer or laptop that probably have a SD slot but not a micro SD one

If it's class 10 then it should be okay.

oh right, but that was just to explain about the classes that he didn't understand. Most of high capacities cards are at least class 10
