Planning: White and Black AMD Build

MuzikFreq

I personally use a 23" dell monitor and sit like a 1 1/2' to 2' away from it so 1080p is perfectly fine, but might hook up to my TV from time to time which is a 4k Samsung with HDR

Anywho

Looking to build a PC around Q3 this year. Primary uses is Music production and gaming. Wanting to make a system that will last for a long while playing ultra 1080p

Budget I'm thinking about $1500-2000

Currently running a Dell 7577 laptop (So the 450 chipset is ..... iffy)

Parts I am considering are

Ryzen 3600

MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2x8GB

Sapphire RX 5700xt Nitro+

Corsair A500 Cpu cooler

Corsair RMx White Series 750Watt 80+Gold PSU

Be Quiet! Pure Base 500DX White case.

Samsung 970 EVO 500GB (System) and 1TB (Games) for my storage.

I kind of want to make a White and black build and really only want to get the parts from Amazon.

Debating if I want to change out the Fans on the CPU cooler for some white RGB fans from enermax or go with a White AIO (While AIO looks nicer comes with risks)

Just because of this, I'm gonna tell you to wait.

That's extremely far away and who knows what could develop within the next two months, nonetheless the next 8

HAHA don't have to tell me. I'm just planning. Will be updating the list most likely. Honestly I already swapped a number of parts after some of the stuff being shown off at CES. Always watching out for what's coming out.

Agreed...I'd keep window shopping, but wouldn't make a final decision till literally a week before I wanted to have it on my desk running.

I'd add I would lean toward an Nvidia card too...just the drivers are most always on spot...guess that could change in AMD's favor between now and then.  If AMD drivers were as good as Nvidia's I'd say what you have listed there looks awesome :)

From everything I been looking up for performance, AMD seems to be at a sweet spot for price and performance.

But for sure, Nvidia I love the ease of driver updates and makes it kinda seemless.

(I did have an old XFX AMD card a while back that I had to flash a different bios because the new drivers cause it to crash and bootloop) >.> but I trust Sapphire as it's like the EVGA for AMD

Hey Muzik, I really love your build! It's exactly as I would build it.

I just have one thing to say, wait for the reviews of the A500 before buying (price also). If it performs well, then go for it; otherwise go for the nh-u12a (single tower dual fan compact beast) or the nh-d15. If you don't like the noctua colour scheme you can go with the black chromax version. If it's too expensive for you the dark rock pro 4 also performs very well.

Also take my advise with a grain of salt cuz I'm a midrange-noctua-fanboy ?

  • CPU
    r5 5600x
  • Motherboard
    Arous b550 pro ac v1
  • RAM
    Tcreate 32gb ddr4 3600 cl18
  • GPU
    1660 super
  • Storage
    SN570 1tb
  • PSU
    Corsair CX750
  • Audio
    Lots of chi-fi iems
  • Operating System
    Windows 11 (lastest)

There is a couple reviews so far and about on par with the big boys, but do want more testing like from gamers Nexus and such before I make any final decisions
