Any suggestions to upgrade router?

Hello, I have been using a BT HomeHub for my router for around 5 years, but it has been getting slower over the years, I have around 6 devices connecting at a time, a mesh network would be nice as there are alot of walls which the WiFi needs to penetrate. There is a NAS which I may think be degrading the performance. Any suggestions?

maybe change supplier.

have a internet over eletricty cant remember what its called.

have you split the wifi bands to 5ghz and 2.4.

 

pretty much any router would be fine you dont need to spend loads.

I don't think it will work as it is quite old wiring and the house has got two different circuits with two seperate fuse boxes.

Also it's mainly the WiFi thats the problem, ethernet is working fine.

i have old wiring and it works fine i get about 40mbps a degridation of about 2
