Not Enough Power Captain. Weak Charger

Hi all

 

Hope you've all had a great Christmas and New Year.

 

I have just received a Chuwi UBook Pro 2in1 i purchased.

 

It seems pretty good spec wise for the price but.....

 

The charger seems too weak to charge it and use it at the same time. The charger is 12v 2amps.

 

Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Thats a weird adapter choice from factory. That device has 5W CPU, 5W display, 5W SSD (from what I can find) so its barely cutting it. You can look for chargers with same voltage output along with same connector and that should work but as always you probably should wait for someone elses response before pulling the trigger on new hardware.

What do you mean by this? Be specific.

Is the charger the official first party charger? Or is it a third party one? What kind of cable does the charger have? USB-C? Or something else?

It's the official charger that came with it. 

It's a UK 240 volt. 

The 12 volt 2 amp is the output of the adaptor.
