Sapphire Trixx & AMD Radeon Software ?

Anyone happen to know if Sapphire Trixx & AMD Radeon Software are compatible ? I have the AMD Software already installed not downloaded Trixx yet, wondering if I can alter the curve of an external fan.

They should be compatible and i don't think u will be able to alter an external fan if u mean a fan not on the GPU.

It'll be fine as long as you aren't trying to change the same settings on both.

Thanks for the replies. After installing it I've found a couple of things, apart from discovering there doesn't seem to be a way to configure the fan curve I've ended up finding a problem instead.

 

Ran the Fan Health Check and doesn't add up ... The first fan shows red but seems to spin ok and the other 2 are green however, the middle fan doesn't spin at all. At first made a knocking sound so inspected the support arm and was touching it but after fixing that it still won't spin freely or in use.

 

Also the fan lights don't work.

 

Not sure about the Warranty as got it through Amazon.

Is your card a sapphire card?

Probably just try using a different version of it.

 

And you should just be able to use Radeon Settings to control the fan curve

Thanks. No version did any better, and unfortunatly can't set the fan curve to 0 even though the GPU fans are not spinning the external one is so at lowest temps is quiet but not silent.

Just an update to this thread... I saw @espr3ss0 mention issues with his GFX card's fan LED lights. I had a problem with my Sapphire 6900 XT where some of the LEDs burnt out. I purchased it through Amazon but was able to contact Sapphire and get them to repair it for free. It came back and worked fine.
