I use it. Helps find stability quickly for my use. Should always expect high temps.

Fixed my issue found that the voltage to my CPU was set to 1.392v in the bios by default changed it to 1.2v and my temp problems are a lot better I was getting like 74c in apex now it's down to about 54-55c woop

Is prime95 good to stress test my Skylake CPU or should I use something different? I read around that there's a bug when using prime 95 with Skylake processors. I'm using an aio and when running it The temps shot up to 80c then stay in that area using small fft option. I don't have an OC ether just stock  just seemed a bit high for running stock and an aio

Prime95 uses a lot of avx, so it will use more power than most workloads, so its a worst case situation. 80c is fine for that. Id look at tems in games and other uses aswell.

I disabled the avx options
