Are these part compatible with each other?

Go to solution Solved by Fasauceome,

Yes. When in doubt, pcpartpicker.com for compatibility

Yeah i'm a newbie on PC building and stuff, but i was just wondering:

Are these part compatible with each other?

Here is what im thinking to build:

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

RAM: Ballistix 8gb 2666 Mhz

GPU: XFX Radeon RX 580 8gb GTS XXX Edition

PSU: 550w Corsair

And you dont need to know what the HDD/SSD and Case is,

If you need to know, comment it so i can tell you :)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

What specific PSU are you looking at? Is that RAM set 2x4GB? How much more would 2x4GB 3000-3200Mhz be? (or 2x8GB if you want to multitask more).

All the components listed will work together, provided the PSU is either a CX, CXM (or any of the higher end unit).

HDD and SSD will use SATA or maybe the SSD is M.2 which will all work, but you need to make sure your case will fit the motherboard and all the other components.

You should aim for a better PSU, the VS isn't very good for a gaming PC. Get a CX450 instead, or a CX550 if you can afford it.

Is that a VS550 with an orange or gray label? If the latter (which is more likely if you're buying new), it's .. still not that good.

As for streaming, it will do, but I suggest to get 16GB (3000Mhz) of RAM for that.

If you want to get a different PSU, you could also look at other brands.

This would be a decent alternative: https://www.komplett.se/product/1128548/datorutrustning/datorkomponenter/nataggregat/nataggregat/cooler-master-mwe-gold-psu-550w
