2070 Super vs 1080ti Heaven 4.0

Me and a friend of mine both ran Heaven 4.0 and compared our scores. He is running a GTX 1080 TI and an Intel 7900X CPU. I am running a Ryzen 7 3700X and a RTX 2070 Super and here are the scores.

I was wondering why is there such a massive discrepency between the 2 scores.

 

We both ran Superposition and my GPU won hands down but for whatever reason my heaven runs seem to be borked and can't figure out why.

From the looks of things he has a slower cpu and a faster gpu.  The 2070s I have read,  is generally considered comparable to a 1080 not a 1080ti

But with a discrepency of 900 points though? that seems very high. Also surely I shouldnt have like a 300 or so point lead over him in Superposition if his GPU is meant to be much better than mine.

 

The only benchmark that makes no sense when we compared was heaven.
