Can I get a new disk and download windows there without deleting the old one

Hey!

I've had this pc for about a month or two and I've seen a lot of performance drop. After further research i found out my disk was really bad (ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro). I want to get a new disk (Samsung 860 EVO 512GB or 1TB). Is it possibl to download windows 10 there without delting any files on M.2 disk?

Edit: Im not getting rid of the old drive if anyone thought i will. Storage is storage even if slow. I do need some sapce for videos so ADATA's drive will do.

You can buy the SSD and use a disk cloning software (Samsung has one on their website, or you can use Macrium Reflect free version) to clone the data from the Adata SSD to the Samsung SSD, then just switch the SSDs so that you'll boot from the Samsung one.

Can you RMA the ADATA drive? Unless you need the extra drive space.

Yes I need extra drive space. And this drive is really bad. It doesnt have any DRAM and it takes about about 36 seconds to start Windows 10. While on old pc there is a samsung drive which starts up windows in 10 seconds

Oh, I thought you were saying the drive was bad as in failing.  You're saying it's just not a good performing drive at all.  Odd, it shouldn't be that slow regardless of DRAM.

Its one of those scam SSDs that advertise HIGH SPEEDS and PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE. But in reality when the drive fills up. It gets really slow.

If Windows is fine on his actual drive, he doesn't need to reinstall again. Of course if you don't mind you can go ahead and clean install Windows, reinstall all your apps and transfer your data.

Cloning is 100% fine for me , over half a dozen clones

Be careful speaking in such broad terms.
