I bought the 1080ti later, originaly had a 1070ti. Im afraid that the i5 is keeping the system back.

Any suggestions to change? should i switch to amd or maybe upgrade to an i7? i mainly use the system for gaming.

yeah but what games and on what settings and what are you getting for fps

also you should pay attention to what the cpu is doing when you are using the pc to get an idea

you may get away with just buying an i7 for $150'ish

maybe even get faster speed ram

I play alot of different games, Ark, Borderlands 3, Destiny 2, War thunder, CSGO, Assasins creed, BF5 and other new AAA titles that releases. Right now i have only got a 1080p 144hz monitor, im gonna buy a 1440p when i find the right one, had the aoc 32 inch but the screen brightness was to low to play with.
