Hi,

After much waiting to get all my parts together, I finally put together my new Ryzen build today, however I've hit a problem. My Hyper X Predator RAM won't fit into the slot nearest the AMD Wraith Stealth cooler supplied with my CPU as the fan shroud is slightly too large. I think any RAM with a heatsink will have the same issue as its so tight. The AMD logo on the cooler is on the opposite side of the board so I can't even rotate the cooler to resolve the issue.

As this is a MIni ITX board I need to use both RAM slots (it's a G series Ryzen), I'm quite happy to use an alternative cooler but wondered if anyone had some suggestions at the budget end of the market.

Standard move has been hyper212 evo for years.  It needs low profile ram though.  Is it a height issue?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

After a bit more research I found the solution, remove the outer ring of the cooler (the bit with the AMD logo on). Some suggested it was screwed on but mine was only clipped in place. With the ring removed, I'm all good and have 2 sticks installed. ?
