Asus ROG Strix B450-F and Ryzen 3600 boot LEDs

I recently put together a new build, and so far everything is going alright. I have setup windows and all my drives. Everything is detected, but I've definitely seen some hiccups.

Build:

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
  • CPU Cooler: Stock AMD Wraith (Have an aftermarket ENERMAX one that says it works for AM4, but it did not fit? The clips were too short)
  • MB: Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming
  • GPU: MSi Armor RTX 2060
  • RAM: GSkill DDR4 - 3200
  • Case: Cooler Master H500
  • PSU: Seasonic 650W - Gold
  • Storage: Samsung 500Gb NVME Drive
  • Storage: 4Tb Seagate Hard Drive

I have updated my BIOS (pretty sure it worked) and my MB was listed as Ryzen-3000 ready.

100 % of the time problems:

  • My boot time is kind of slow. It takes 20ish seconds from hitting the power button to the windows login screen. On my old build it was closer to 10.  Every time I power on it cycles through the boot LEDs (Red, Yellow, Orange, White, Green, not necessarily in that order). This seems to delay the time that it takes to get into BIOS. I'm wondering if I'm missing a BIOS setting somewhere that could cause this to go faster

~10 % of the time problems:

  • Booting sometimes gets stuck on the Orange LED, and my manual (and the one I found online) does not tell me anything about an orange LED. Doing a hard reboot appears to fix this.

Any ideas? Help is appreciated
