Affordable monitor for creative work (3D,Art,Gamedev)?

Hi there.

Does anyone know of a good but affordable monitor for creative work (3d modeling/game dev/art) with a good display?

I'm wondering if 4k is worth it, and im not really playing games anymore so I think I'd be willing to give up high refresh rates.

It's really not, you can find cheaper 1440p monitors that will get the job done just as good and without weird UI scaling issues.

up to 4k only starts making some sense on 32inch screens so if you're thinking on 27 inches 1440p is golden.

About what screen, you'll likely be fine with any IPS at 60hz~75hz you can find.

Haven't really thought of the scaling issues. Would 4k at 27 inches be hard to look at with the scaling set to 100%? I've tried 1440p at 27 inches at 100% and it looks great so maybe I'll go for that.

Oh yes, it's impossible to use 4k at 27inches on 100% scaling.

Well that's good to know! I guess 32 inches+ makes more sense then if I absolutely want to go 4k.

I want to stay at 100% scale, so I'll take this into consideration when looking for monitors from now on. Thank you!

A 34" 1440p ultrawide is also a good option if you need more horizontal space. Otherwise normal aspect ratio monitors are better, also easier to fit on a desk.

I watch a lot of movies/shows/youtube, so I've kinda scrapped that idea because the thought of black bars on the sides would be annoying. And yeah space, I like having two seperate monitors.
