Hi There, I have a custom built gaming PC that ive been upgrading occassionally for a few years now

a few months ago i had a full windows corrupt and had to completely reinstall, i also upgraded my PC at the same time

Since then, my PC will run great for a few hours, then after a few hours videos will begin to freeze, my mouse will freeze in place, programs will take ages to load, even twitter will freeze and stop scrolling or loading images etc

I have NO idea why its happening, like maybe my specs arnt compatible with eachother and i didnt realise?

1. Check thermals on the CPU, GPU and motherboard VRM

2. Were there any BSODs ?

3. Check event viewer for any errors.

4. Check HDD SMART.

5. What PSU exactly ?

Memory leaked? Try keep an eye on memory usage in task manager.

That might be your problem here, it's terrible PSU, especially for the GPU like this.

But it may be also a memory leak on some software as @xAcid9 have mentioned, check task manager for the memory usage.

So ive been watching my Memory usuages for a while now and its stayed between 8GB and 9GB / 16GB whilst ive been watching it

Im surprised about the PSU, i thought it wouldve been more than powerfull enough for this setup

Yeah, it needs to be well known that PSU is the most important part of PC, if it's garbage then everything else would work like garbage too.

Refer to this thread to pick a new one :

Or just tell me where are you from and what's your approximate budget for it.
