I'm currently running 1 Palit RTX 2080ti in my system and it seems the stock cooler can't keep the temperature down in prolonged usage.(20-30 drop in frame/stutter etc)

So I was searching for possible AIO cooler for GPU, but most were only according to founder's edition or specific brands(EVGA for example). And there wasn't anywhere to check compatibility with available AIO and my card.

Does anyone know which one would be compatible? And is 120mm AIO will be enough?(I think VRAM will get separate cooling in one kit from what I've seen from various guides)

That... can’t be. 20-30 FPS drop means something else is wrong.

Use a program like EVGA precision or MSI afterburner and see what the clocks are doing. You should see sub 5% FPS drops at absolute worst, so even at 200 fps that would be a drop of 10 FPS.

If your version is either 2080 Ti Dual, 2080 Ti GamingPro, or 2080 Ti GamingPro OC according to Corsairs Hydro X site your card is Founder Edition based.

https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Blocks/GPU-Blocks/Hydro-X-Series-XG7-RGB-20-SERIES-GPU-Water-Block-(2080-TI-FE)/p/CX-9020005-WW#tab-gpu-compatibility

However I do agree the 20+ fps is a big drop and would trouble shoot it first.

Thanks! I just checked and it says it's compatible with my Palit 2080ti Dual. But I was looking for AIO cooler like this EVGA one(https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=400-HY-1484-B1). But it does not say it'll be compatible with mine :/

Where can I do troubleshoot? The max fps I get in BF1 ultra at 1440p is 90-100 fps(And drops if I play too long like few hours). Even *easy games like Overwatch, I never got full fps. I'm not sure if this is even normal.

Any aio that supports founder editions should work. You should cross check the evga cards with corsair site but when I was looking at them most are custom boards.

Start with the programs they have given, both should give decent data (only used after burner) about the GPU in graphs from clock speed to fan speed volts etc.

You can always share a screenshot of the graphs too I think the graphs are 5 minutes of data so when you see the issue hop out of the game and look to see if any dips happen in any of the graphs

Definitely try MSI afterburner or EVGA precision. Both programs will have the ability to show graphs of temp, voltage, and GPU usage. We will want to see those, really we will want to see every option they will show. Something is likely wrong I’d your dropping that much FPS.

My full water cooler rtx 2080 and my precious GTX 1080 only gained about 50 MHz from being on water. On stock air they boosted the same, but after about 20 minutes they would start dropping clocks due to heat eventually settling in ~50mhz lower. But 50 MHz is like... 1 or 2 FPS at most. If we can see what your GPU is doing, it may reveal other issues and then we can provide advice on how to fix them.

I'm using EVGA now. It's much cleaner than MSI afterburner. Hopefully it'll show what is the problem
