Hi all, been watching Linus Tech tips on youtube for quite some time and today I finally decided to check out the forum.

I used to be an avid pc gamer but between having kids and the exchange rate as well as components pricing changing drastically in the past decade I have become at most a light gamer.

I do however love tinkering and do it for a living as well as a personal hobby, I have a rebuilt (always in the process of getting upgraded) 80's American cnc machine (Champion is the brand) in my garage, several 3d printers and do plenty work on more industrial and insane machines for the company I work for. I primarily get them going, keep them going and also on occasion just play with them. These include die casters, spin casters, serious 3 axis milling and engraving machines, c02 lasers, fibre lasers, YAG lasers, vinyl printers/cutters to name a few :)

I also happen to do all the IT work for the company I work at so am not out of the field but it has taken a bit of a back burner in my personal life.

Anyway, after watching the channels I decided this may be a good place to check out.

Apologies for the wall of text and hope to have a great forum experience :)
