How to connect USB in macOS through virtualbox in Windows?

Hey guys,

I'm running macOS Catalina on Windows 10 using VirtualBox. I want to format the pendrive as macOS Journeled for making it a bootable drive for mac. But when I format it using disk utility, windows does not recognize it so the format process fails. Is there any other way? I don't own a mac btw so it's kinda difficult for me.

What do you mean... Once it's connected to the VM, which seems to be the case since you see it in disk utility windows doesn't do anything about it anymore.

I format it as macOS journeled extended. And it disconnects during the process.

Does your audio devices happen to work on the MacOS? I have tried all the audio controllers and cannot get my audio devices to pick up on the vm MacOS. My (Host) is a razer blade pro windows 10 and im running macOS 10.15 Catalina on virtualbox.
