Hey,

since I'm kind of out of the game I hoped you guys can help me.

My little brother wants to upgrade his PC for Christmas. He wishes to be able to play games like Witcher and other demanding games in 1080p, 60fps.

This is his current rig:

Budget is around 300€ (Germany) / 330 USD.

He also wants to upgrade to a 144Hz display early next year. That might be relevant.

It would also be great, if the upgrade lasts a few years.

I was thinking about upgrading the CPU (sone i5 that fits and has good clockspeeds) and the GPU.
Or should I switch to AMD?

Any suggestions?

€ is worth more than $ so with PCPartPicker you can probably spend 330$.

ohhh i misunderstood some of it then.

does that mean you have 300€ for pure upgrades and just swap the upgrades with the parts listed in the post?
