My issue is that the graphics card I plan to buy looks like it will block my sata ports. The card is an rx 570 either msi armor, or sapphire (double fans) both of which look like they will cover my sata ports. I have looked in to itx gpus, but the 1060 seems a bit over priced and the Sapphire pulse says it needs a 500w psu, and I only have a 450w psu.

So my question is if a right angle sata cable would fit under the gpu, or does anybody have advise for what I should do.

This is my first post so sorry if it is a bit messy.

What motherboard do you have? Perhaps you have 2 to 4 ports on the right side of the board which can work too.

On a PC of a relative of mine I had to use the ports under the GPU and a 90° cable worked in that scenario, but it depends on what orientation the cable will go in.

Keep in mind the 'minimum wattage' any manufacturer tells you is just one metric, it's just as important to have a quality PSU.

I solved this problem by using the 90° SATA cable that came with my motherboard.

I have a very long graphics card that obstruct some SATA ports,so you need to remove the graphics card, connect the 90° cable, then install the graphics card,

Works perfectly fine for me.

Depends on the board. If they are still flat as in 90 degrees from the board, the card won’t matter.

Ports can still be used all the same. Just me maybe harder to get too.
