What MOBO, PSU, CPU fan, RAM and GPU to go with 3900x? rate this combo

I want a full update.

Right now im considering this:

MOBO: https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-X570-AORUS-PCIe4-0-Motherboard/dp/B07SVRZGMX/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Gigabyte+X570+Aorus+Elite&qid=1575953666&sr=8-1

PSU: https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-RM750x-Certified-Modular-Supply/dp/B079HGN5QS/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Corsair+RM750X+V2+750W+80+Plus+Gold+Modular&qid=1575953599&sr=8-1

GPU: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Overclocked-Dual-Fan-DisplayPort-DUAL-RTX2080S-O8G-EVO/dp/B07VBBDZTN/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Asus+GeForce+RTX+2080+Super+Dual+Evo+OC+Edition+8GB+GDDR6&qid=1575953577&s=electronics&sr=1-1

CPU fan: https://www.amazon.com/Scythe-120mm-Cooler-LGA1151-Towers/dp/B07RFNG89S/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=Scythe+FUMA+2+51.17+CFM+CPU+Cooler&qid=1575953723&sr=8-2

RAM: https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-3200MHz-Desktop-HX432C16FB3K2-32/dp/B07WJJHMP5/ref=pd_sbs_147_t_1/139-0574975-0164845?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07WJJJ5M6&pd_rd_r=32175ffa-efcb-4359-97e7-f42854239c02&pd_rd_w=Urzzs&pd_rd_wg=vEcZ4&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=WTJP8GCWP1HTP6M69TVR&refRID=WTJP8GCWP1HTP6M69TVR&th=1

How do you rate this?

I honestly dont really know what im doing, I selected what the local online shop suggested as what people seem to be buying in a combo. The CPU fan I was told its pretty silent which is important to me. I dont plan in doing any OC, I will keep always stock speeds, I want silent, powerful computer for audio, video editing and recording gameplay in HD or maybe 4k too. In the future when VR doesnt suck I plan to buy a headset for racing games. Hopefully that is enough. Im just worried if some components will not be compatible or something. Specially worried with RAM-CPU-MOBO combo as I've heard AMD is very picky on this. Also worried if the PSU is enough W or not.

And for storage BTW: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073SBW3VD/ref=twister_B07WPG52FF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&tag=linus21-20

My case is a fraktal define r4, not planning on changing it. Will all components fit?

Let me know if im good to go. Im using a 10+ year old quadcore and im going insane, even firefox is slow help

budget and country? Use asus board instead of gigabyte in x570.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

That looks pretty decent!

but don’t get that SSD! It’s crap and only sata m.
get a MX500 or 950 evo+
depending on prices you might also be able to get a MP600 (pcie 4.0) talking about video editing you will benefit from it)

CPU cooler: that one is nice but a bit more silent and better quality would be a NH-D15

RAM: That’s much RAM but nice for editing I guess

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

I have no idea, I just selected that one because I thouhght that the SSDs that look like ram sticks are more modern lol.

About the cooler, I was told it doesn't make that much of a difference noise wise with the Scythe, and that you can have problems if you get that huge mamooth in terms of it fitting in your case and also the ram fitting on it so im not sure.

Better price/perf. Especially the HP SSD is fans enoug and real cheap for 2TB WAAAY faster than the WD shit :D

PSU: A 750W PSU will also be enough. The Model is nice, I have it to. Super silent and low ripple etc

CPU Cooler: the Noctua is more silent due to having bigger fans. It will fit but you might have to move the outer fan up a bit (wich is no problem and easy)

RAM: litte bit more perf for less $$

GPU: ASUS is overpriced and Hyped. Nice cards but EVGA does it to for cheaper and sometimes better cooler/VRM design

I see

Im concerned with that RAM design combined with Noctua huge ass fan.. i dont want any surprises of things not fitting

anyone can confirm that it will work?

what is exactly "moving the outer fan up a bit"? any videos?

Also I've seen its recommended to buy two fans for the noctua:

Quote

specially at low rpms the second fan helps a lot, allowing you lower rpm operation or better temps, either way it does make a difference at low rpms (at high rpms its not as much). But there I would pick the LeGrandMacho over the NH-D15S if i were not to use two fans on the NH-D15S. But take into account, that we haven't seen operational temperature of any Ryzen 3000, could be that it doesn't need a great cooler or could be that even with the best it will need a ton of rpms and you will never be able to use it quietly (making this up, no one knows aside from AMD employees).

any thoughts etc?

About the MOBO: I dont want a wireless wifi-bluetooth or anything wireless on it. So can you recommend me one without any of that? thats why I selected the Elite one.

Noctua: The fans are held down by clamps wich sit between the fins of the cooler. This can just be attached a bit higher.

The recommended cooler does come with two fans, so youre fine :D

MOBO: Why? But ok, you can simply unplug the intel WiFi card (and sell it :D)

RAM: I cant guarantee but should fit. If youre afraid go with Vengeance LPX. That’s more expensive and a bit slower but will fit definitely. Make sure to get 3200 or better 3600MHz

if you move the fan and its not centered doesnt that reduce its cooling effect

yep but IF you need to move it you only have to do that by like 5mm and that won’t matter

ok

but the problem is i cant find HP EX950 in the shop i want to buy all the stuff (I dont want to buy it on separate shops because its a bit of a mess)

which ones from here would you recommend?

https://www.pccomponentes.com/discos-duros/2-tb/disco-ssd

Also, does 750 vs 850 W on the PSU make any relevance? would I ever need those extra 100 wats?

SSD: Intel 660p solid choice like the HP. Nothing to fancy but 2TB at this price is awesome

PSU: 100W extra wont be needed but when it’s like 5$ more just doo it if it’s over 10 more it’s not worth it

an intel storage device? not sure.... im a bit paranoida bout spyware tho, I cant trust intel after all that meltdown-spectre thing

also, what do you think about this ram?

RAM: Nice! I have nearly the same kit

SSD: Nah bro... this was about how they designed the CPUs. And i am realy no intel fan but this SSD is pretty good all the others are much more expensive. Samsung 970 evo plus is cool but $$$. I think there is no reason to not trust the intel SSD

its hard to trust intel at this point, its NSA. do they have propietary chips?

im also considering going 850, its 10 bucks more... just in case in the future i go SLI with 2 RTX.. doubt it but assuming there's no difference, maybe it helps, because the electricity bill is the same afaik, its just that it has higher peak wattage

Intel: Yes they have but... yeha. That can surely also be summed of HP and manny others. If you DONT WANT IT you can go with a 970 evo plus 1TB. Fastest PCie 3.0 drive but yeha half the storage or a Corsair. But they all are expensive compared to intel

wait, its there:

at 31 inside an r4 define i guess its not hearable right? hopefully it doesnt go up in term while browsing the internet or something (i've heard the 3900x sometimes spikes in usage while browsing the internet which made me worried, see:

So now I need to know, will this 3 fan monster fit within my fraktal define r4 case? its a long card...

Usage spikes: this is not connected to the CPU itself. That’s a software problem.

32 in a r4: don’t know but would guess not herable

fitring the GPU: most case websites list max video card length. So you should be able to check it beforehand
