Can I use the screen from my dead laptop as an extra monitor?

I know this is a stupid question, but I wonder if I can still get something from my dead laptop.
My laptop is Lenovo forgot-what-series-is, motherboard is dead, it didn't draw any power for unknown reason. And it has been sitting in my room for more than 4 months.

So far the things that I could salvage is the 500GB SSHD. But... can I rip the screen from the laptop and using it as a second monitor for my pc?
If yes, how to?
If no... well, just give up the only way I guess.

I mean yeah you can buy the panels new or you can use one you alreay have from a dead laptop like he said.

Now I just hope local shop or on the nearby city has the adapter like in the video. I kinda skeptical about it since I live in a kinda backwater country.

The control board?

Shops don't have stuff like that.

It needs to be ordered from ebay.
