Hello,

I am planning a new build out and I was wondering if a B450 motherboard will be ready for Ryzen 2000 out of the box, or if you would need to update the BIOS first?

Thanks!

yeah it will work for sure

but if you wanted to use ryzen 4000 series you would need bios flashback

the x570 is good to have for various reasons, but primarly 39xx series, but also for o/c and vrm quality for o/c, maybe even pcie lanes and what have you.

the b450 and the 2000 ryzen is a good match for plug and play

Any B450 (or X470 for that matter) board will work with a 2000 series CPU.

Most B450 boards will work with Ryzen 3000 even at this point.
