all has been working fine in the past 3 years, except for the power button mis firing and swapped that to the reset button on the case corsair spec3 case, now all of a sudden my pc randomly enters a power cycles after say 5 mins - 10 mins of operation then never comes out off it i leave it off for an hour boot up same symtoms again...

tests done and failed missrably:

Re-seated ram

Set ram to dual chanel/quad chanel

re-seated the cmos battry

Reset bios to default (never over clocked just set fans to performance)

Air blowed the pc and dusted the fans and its inlets

checked all cables, all seem to be connected properly

i am going bonkers, i have exams round the corner for my lpi, and if this is a mobo failure or psu, it has never happened to me like this, so i am asking for tips, help, or possible solutions...

i have reached out to the supplier of most of my build, we have set an appointment for tomorrow to take a look, as it seems my board might still be under warranty for an RMA replacement if its the case. will keep you all posted on this. if not i will need to see how much my pocket is gonna cry tomorrow...
