i bought a star tec hot swap bay and enabled e sata on my motherboard to make moving files and backing up easier and faster.  the hot-swap bay is just pass thru no back plane.  my problem is when i eject disk (hard drives or ssd) i sometimes get disk errors when i put them in my other computer and it runs scan disk (i havent noticed it actually find errors during scan disk).  i have tried different  sata ports, different sata cables ran a sole sata power cable from the psu  even bought another hot swap bay in case it was the pass thru connector.  is there some other setting i need to set for the hard drives and ssd for them to eject properly in windows? again it doenst happen every time so im a bit confused whats going on and it doesnt actually seem to find any errors during scan disk running.  or am i possible just sol and my motherboard just doesnt like e-sata (i had 2 sabertooth  990fx motherboards and one of them was that way with the rear e sata ports)

Run all updates available in your devices, go for a BIOS upgrade if available and also update your firmware hardware of your storage devices, and don't forget to enable hot swap in your MOBO again...

sorry have been away everything is updated its actually a fresh install and i downloaded all drivers but sadly i cannot use the lastest bios since i can not boot with xmp enabled with bios c and d versions im currently running b version from msi and they havent gotten back to me as why i cannot use xmp or manual settings for any bios version over there b version would disabling write caching or setting quick eject be a way to solve the improper ejecting of hard drives and ssds? the hard drives are using latest firmware ill have to check the ssds tonight though
