Hello,
I bought a Dell G7 7588 as a budget gaming laptop a year and a half ago, and I have been using it as it came from the store. For gaming performance, whenever I play I see stuttering while the game runs, I checked with Intel Xtreme tuning, it showed that while playing the CPU max core frequency gets from 3.8 Ghz to 800Mhz which makes it stutter in the game, I have been checking on the internet and saw there are a few thousand of questions asked but not any of them were actually solved answers, so I wanted to ask you guys, did you face this issue, or how did you fix it? I am a Physics grad student and cant really get a desktop or a new laptop right now, or even cant take it to the service center. please help me out.

Heard about this issue many times but the cause is still not 100% known (if anyone know the cause please share)

Try clean Windows install and updating new BIOS+drivers. Overheating might trigger the CPU to go into low power state but that's just my guess
