How can I turn up my PC without the case to see if it's working?

Okay so basically, I'll have my build ready tomorrow, but my case's shipping is being delayed. I want to make sure everything is working to be less nervous, and I know it's recommended to build the PC outside of the case to see if it's working, but how can I turn it up without having the power switch cable? Is there a way to do that?

You short the pins for the power button. Plenty of tutorials online. Make sure the motherboard isnt touching any metal though. Just put it on the motherboard box
